Last night we were out of town a bit for a birthday gathering, naturally I took my camera to take advantage of the darker skies. I had big plans, but they got pared down to simpler targets.
Image 1: A wide angle shot of the Milky Way. This is a stack of nine 30 second exposures, f/4, 10mm, 1600 ISO.
Images 2&3 : The I took my first try at the Andromeda Galaxy (M31). The following images are the same stack of twenty-six 5/2 second exposures, f/4, 200mm, 1600ISO, following different editing tutorials.
