We went out on a couple nights to try and capture the comet. As this was one of my first outings with a proper camera, it was very much a learning experience. The first image is taken on the Canon EOS 70D with a Canon EF 70-200mm 1:2.8 L IS II USM lens. It's the one I'm most happy with. It's a single 10 second exposure with minimal post-processing. Following that is what I took with my Panasonic Lumix point and shoot camera, for comparison.
