I've been reading more of Getting Started: Long Exposure Astrophotography by Allan Hall (which is really great and I recommend). I just finished the section on Stretching Images (a lot of what I've already been doing), and he likes to do his stack in DSS, then stretching and noise reduction in PixInsight, then further finessing in Adobe Light room. I took a go at this flow, with it being the first time I really used Lightroom for editing. I generally just fuss in PixInsight. I think this is an image I've shared before, but here's the Lagoon and Trifid Nebulae using Hall's editing flow:

Quite a different vibe.
