New Lens

 After a cloudy week, we had (mostly) clear skies last night! And I had a new lens I wanted to try out! I took a gamble on the Lightdow 420-800mm Telephoto Lens. Tried it out last night on some planetary shots, as well as the moon. Here are a couple shots I'm happy with. I also took shots of Mars and Jupiter, but I've gotta tweak those setting some more to get images I'm happy with, trying again tonight!

Image 1: Saturn. My first zoom capture! I'm so happy to see the ring definition here. That's really something I wanted to achieve. Taken at 800mm.

Image 2: Moon. Nothing too special here as far as technique, 800mm for more detail than my previous moon shots. 1/100 shutter speed, 100 ISO, f/8.3.
